In the church's guest book, Bush wrote "May God bless the Christians of China."
Who thinks GWB wrote that line by himself? If he wrote it, did he have to get it "approved" by his PR advisors? Was that line "tested" with a focus group?
why am i asking these questions?

A little known fact. X-tianity is extremely popular with the Chinese, Taiwanese and South Koreans.

I don't believe that it matters whether or not he wrote it, or he was told to write it...the fact of the matter is that he probably shouldn't have.
Many people, including myself, would rather that china not supress religion the way it does, but in the interest of diplomacy, it probably would've been better that he respect china's government.

what's the problem w/a man pointing out specifically those who are of like faith?
why shouldn't he have written it Quincy? It's his faith and it's a 'special' message to those of the same faith.
stop being so damned picky

admittedly, i don't know a great deal about china, but as i understand it...the authorities there are not huge fans of chistianity.
But all i was really getting at is that it may have been better for bush not to be so volcal on the topic...sort of like how you wouldn't discuss religion with a person on a first date.
on a personal level, i don't really care whether or not he wrote it, and i think my comment came out with a little more piss and vinegar then i really wanted...

i hate organized religion almost as much as i hate george bush.
religion is a personal thing
and like that murdering assbag has any right to say god bless anyone.
