Norton Re Ghost for OSX

  Is there something like that?

  I would like to format my computer and save some of the settings, (ical, phonebook, email, software, etc) so every time there is something wrong I can go back to those settings..

  don't use 'Norton' anything on OS X.. it makes a mess of the system.

  sounds like you just want to clone your startup disk, in which case I'd recommend Carbon Copy Cloner.
