Me too Justin. Bad vibes everywhere - but everyone has their own opinion. Personally, I dig his work.

it's piss and vinegar today on the NT. Whatever.
He likes this, he likes that, knick knack paddy whack give a dog a bone.

I'm definitely feeling this stuff. There would be no motion without the creative mind in the beginning.

this stuff reminds of how people now compare today's pop music to that of the pop music produced in the early 80s.
Today's pop music/design is very disposable, here today, gone tomorrow. There is so much of it around that people get confused as to what is good and bad after being bombarded with such intensity.
While I would say it appears stylistic, it still also answers its brief which is what the client wants and it's what every designer should be striving to do.

Every designer should be striving to work for E$$O/COKE/MARLBORO, moraless scum who can do pretty colours
his work's nice, shame it's for corporate cunts

I agreed with jg_2 at first, but when you realize they're boards for motion sequences, and you take in everything and judge the body of work as a whole, it grows on you. I like his work a lot.

(Nov 19 05, 01:45)I guess the same would apply to lawyers who work for organised crime or for politicians who take bribes or for bent cops just doing their job only with a secondary motive.

Speak for yourself. Churning out trendy crap for shitty clients to sell bullshit products to morons is not what I strive to do.

That's what I strive to do, elle. I take a pretty nihilistic approach to work. If it's aesthetic and I get paid, I'm happy.

interesting reactions on my statement.
well... am I a hater just because I do not like that? Are you hating me because I am suposed to be a hater?
c'mon guys! You may disagree, and thats it. Relax.
I know some of you dig that stuff. But you have to recognize: Although being nice (nothing to do with the "design-non-design statement) this is not really a groundbreaking artwork since its using a lot of resources already used by a lot of designers. etc. bla. bla.
ps. I am not on crack, I am on heroine. Lol.
ps2. My english sux.

artists need to pay rent and 'eat' too!
especially the ones that are not rich kids. His personal work is on his web site, also. There is more to an artist than just his/her works of art. You must know an artist and his entire life story as a human before shitting this or that. what's was on his site meant for advertising his commercial work, in order to survive. His art goes beyond THAT.
