I think this will be a good place to bitch every day about my crappy ass job.
Today I was given more documents that were printed out and asked to scan them. WTF?
Last weekI made dynamic PDF's for these moron's to use. The keep printing them out and asking me to scan them so they could email them. WTF?
Every day sucks here. I finally got a cool Flash project to do, (coolest thing in over 2 years) it's on the back seat while I recreate crappy ass Visio into PowerPoint, again.
Shoot me. I can't believe that I am really given the tile "Senior Graphic Designer"

ohh that sounds bad stevegee,
one of my biggest bitches is when clients type out content in word, format it and every thing then send over printed documents and dont supply it digitally....I sure they think i love typing their words out! haha
can;t you tell them to save the pdf's then email them?? if they are worried about securing the content you can tarck all changes etc

OH, and when I am asked to make copies of shit, I tell them to take their computer monitor to the copy room and I'll meet them there soon.

the place i used to work was a non-profit org and the people there used to do stuff like that all the time.
finally, when the md asked for yet another scan and printout (this is even worse - it's not like they want a digital copy, just a hard copy), i made him sit down next to me and go through the whole process.
suddenly the cost of colour a3 photocopying next door didn't seem like such a rip-off. people don't realise how much time this sort of thing wastes. tell them.

I feel your pain. I've taken on more projects involving actual site builds and re-designs but now I'm supposed to train entry level people do those projects so I can go back and work on entry level stuff...
