Can i use an eps (or some other vector format ) to make a bezier picture box in Quark?
I've got about 130 photos that all need to be the same shape in a quark page ( a jigsaw piece ) and I really don't want to have to draw it again in quark.
I also don't want to have to add it as a clipping path in photoshop cos it'll give me headache.
Thanks in advance

just copy the path from illy to and paste as a path intoo photoshop. convert that to a clipping path and export the file as an eps.
or draw one in quark and use the step and repeat function.

put down Quark, and pick up InDesign. It's the best advice I can give you.

Indesign ain't an option, I've tried persuading the boss to switch before, it ain't happening.
Re-drawing in quark looks like the way forward, I can't use clipping paths as the images are all different sizes, but need to print at the same size.
Step and repeat could save me a lot of time.

when someone asks for QUARK help, i dont think "give up quark and learn indesign in the next 13 seconds" is very helpful you friggin asshat

no way to import outlines. sorry.
bring in the shape as an image and use it to draw the new box in quark on top of it... using the image as a guide. then just duplicate the box as needed.
quark does stink... everybody is switching. tell your boss to get out of the mud, the old fart.
