45 mins each way, 13 miles each way and its not even bloody London!!

for 2 years it was over an hour; 2 tubes a train and a bus. Company has now relocated to the wanker-banker haven of the City BUT I can bike here in 10 minutes or 2 stops in the tube in 15.
Amazing what a difference the added hour and half a day makes to your life.

knowing what i know now, i'd add 5k on to any salary demands just for working in canary wharf. i never knew how good i had it in clerkenwell. i miss you, clerkenwell!

1 hour drive during rush hour, 15 minutes every other time.

for the better part of the past 8-1/2 years it was 1hr 15mins each way (113 mile per day).
i recently accepted a position four miles from my house.
it's like gordy said... pretty damn cool to automatically add that kind of time to your day.

Anything from 35mins – 2 hrs depending on the time of year, temperature, type of rain, suspicious packages and according to Transport for London.

One this days i'm going to have an interview to an agency in the same building i live, three floors down.
Have i to accept if they say i'm ok for them?

Fariska that really really nicely it put a smile on my face.

chossy, snuggles and others that commute over an hour each way. how do you guys put up with that everyday? I did it for a few months before i decided to move closer to work, because it wasn't much more than the cost of filling up my tank twice a week and putting my car through hell with stop and go traffic.
im considering doing it again, but i think its a crazy idea. what gets you guys through your long commutes?

Best I had was at Uni when I lived in a flat next to the Bar i was working in; journey to work consisted of a walk down one flight of stairs, 2 foot walk then up another. 45 seconds tops.
Those were the days.

Trains Working 1 an a half hours :) trains not working 2 hours :(
at the moment I'm pissed of with the train companies. They are the devil and they are fucking me like Satan

I'm used to it. My commute was an hour in toronto, just getting from one end of the city to the other, now at least I'm going from one city to another so that seems justifiable. I have my headphones and sometimes a book so the time flies by...

my motto:
tfl, gfy.

hehe nomis. maybe it's because your public transport system is such that you can actually hold a book at a decent reading distance away from your face. my trains are so crowded that sometimes i physically cannot get on them, much less read a book if i do.

(Nov 17 05, 03:01)haha, ain't that the toof. I always manage some contorted position, resting my weighted tome on some bald mans 'ead.
