Apple gettin sloppy?

Got my new Imac last week.
20 inch with a gig of ram, runs great. was only till this weekends when daylight struck, I notice there's some scratches on the front panel and a small dent in the rim of the screen. I'm like, fuck. I phone apple and they say they can replace it, but wont do a straight switch as its in their policy not too. Fuck that, I aint waiting another 4 weeks. they gave me a small discount, end of the day thats sloppy handleing, not made in america any more? shipment came from Shanghai.

Yeah return it and get a new one. They are probably assembling them outside US to cut costs.

if you bought it from apple in the UK it would usually have been made in Eire.

I could return it, cant be arsed with the hassle. ( I wont have a PC for atleast a few weeks ) it aint that bad. just a bit pissed off its marked in the first place.

china. just bought a nano from the apple site, checked its tracking number. china. everything comes from china.
