been asked by unNT colleague if I can suggest someone who reads and draws about the same thing for a non-prof magazine. so there's some loot in it.

yeah- where the illustration is not as decorative as editorial. So, you read the article and make some key ideas visible in some way.

well surealy all illustration to be used in magazines should bare some relevance to the article, I mean, ideally you dont want to go putting an illustration of a showerhead next to an article about the holocaust to use a terrible example. Well unless its some fucked up kind of publication.

hey xenicon, i have a great friend who is an non NT person that i'm making a website for. he's a little older than the rest of us designer and you could say he has experience will pretty well know publications in the past. right now he could really use some work... his name is jery perichon and maybe you will like his work (as he's had some bad luck recently).
i'm not totally finished with the website but you can take a look at about 30 of his pieces. he's done lots of work... i also have his contact on there as well...
please check it out and pass it on if you think his work is appropriate.
