#3 and #5 no.
The other ones are not bad.
how about #2 with green instead of that red?the best ones for me are 1, 2 and 4

None of them say landscape gardener to me. But if I had to choose, #1 for me.

cheers guys.
i'm liking no.1 the most also.
the client wants to one day expand the business and grow different divisions, so it can't look like just gardening.
ambitious!

true. it doesn't say gardener to me, but that's what happens when people want a high end look or non-typical elements.
I personaly like logos that simply exist coz of their look and not coz they mean something.

need more curve.
at present they are too 'hard edged' and corporate. Play around with some more typefaces and considering the name, you could do something with the 'p' or 't'.

Any of them would be ok for an IT development company. You need to make it more organic.
I agree with the comments abour hard edged. There's so much you could do with the word petal. Even a simple typographic treatment of 'petal' with a little twist would be nice.

I like them all but guess 1 is strongest. Kind of military looking tho.

agree with the last post, if I had to choose, I'd go with top row/far right, but with more green :)

ok; agree with baskerville's post that is...

oh, forgot to mention—
client wants it to be sans serif, stark and almost 'german furniture' looking.
otherwise it would be serif.
anyway — thanks guys for your feedback.

What about combining 1 and 2?
Stay with me on this.Keep the shape from 1.
Take the petal shape from 2 but delete the dot at the 5o'clock position and tweak it to create an 'e' that can be dropped into the word 'petal.
Maybe also change the shape of the dots slightly to resemble petals.
Whack that over the rounded square and maybe add some colour?
Have to say prefer the softness of the u&lc version 3 but would like to see it in green with the graphic from no.4

back to work!
