actually yes, today was a great day. carly and i went to the local studio stroll. here in asheville there are a ton of artists' studios located in old warehouses down in the "river district" and today there doors were opened for the public. very cool and inspiring to stand in the very spaces where so much wonderful art is created.
then this eveing we went to a dinner party at a good friends house. good times as always.

Very relaxing day. woke up early, read the news, watched some great soccer (england vs. argentina).
Watched a movie, had a good chicken sandwich, walked around the mall, looked at high school girls who dress like they are in mid twenties.
now, i am watching 'saving private ryan' and doing some work.

shit, if I'd have seen this earlier, I'd have told you to come down to The Pontiac in Wicker Park, to Honkey Tonk bingo hosted by Elston Yates! That's where I've been - $3 Lone Stars, Wild Turkey, chicken dinners, and the Fulton County Line band!

i was in a bike race earlier in the day and ended up at a bunch of after parties for that. i was so dehydrated my contacts kept getting so dry i could barely see. score!
