Just got an Ibook and was just wondering how to calibrate the screen for print work etc.
Any advise or settings would be greatly appreciated

system preferences > monitors > color > calibrate > advanced

There is a built-in calibration process in Mac OS X (open System Preferences, choose Displays, click on the Color tab, then click the Calibrate button). Make sure to check off "Expert Mode" as it gives you a greater range of variables and settings to tweak.
Alternately, a good option is also a calibration tool such as Pantone's Spyder 2Pro:
