Which font manager is the best in your opinions for PC, Adobe Font Folio, or Extensis Suitcase?
If it matters I use photoshop and illy mostly?!
Cheers.

oh cmon... please!! Isn't this supposed to be a designers gathering place, surely something other than Ashlee Simpson and RC models can be discussed?
Or maybe I am just bitter about the whole "its friday but I have to work all wknd" thing. :(
cheers.

Dumb question...
But what do you use a font manager for anyways?
I'm just used to choosing what I want from within Photoshop after it's installed.

Thnx Flickster, but I am on a PC so that won't work.

mg33: font managers are for when you have hundreds or thousands of fonts and don't need (or want) them all open at once as this totally fux0rz your computer and slows everything down.
so i've been on the lookout for a decent font manager myself. i'm on a mac.. i've tried font book (sucks because it copies fonts you activate into your font library thereby slowing down your system.. ) and suitcase (which just runs plain slow on my machine). does anyone else have this problem? i don't have a ton of fonts open at one time or anything. it's very frustrating.

I use ATM because I got it free, with FontFolio, loads them fonts like a motherfucker.

WHO NEEDS THOUSANDS, OR EVEN HUNDREDS OF FONTS!!
*scratches head, looks at font list.
Dudes, I get by just fine with Arial Narrow, Baskerville, and Comic Sans (for the jokes.)

Been using Font Explorer for a while and love it. Time to finally ditch Suitcase.
