well, at least the temporary pain of the extraction should be a positive trade off for the constant pain you must be in.don't worry mate, and although you are an alcohol guy (like me), not a drug guy, they will give you good drugs.
tell them that you are allergic to codeine and they should give you something better. tell them codeine makes you throw up, and they will give you percoset or something that you can use to get laid. just tell sexy girls at bars you have some percoset, hook them up with a pill, and you get laid almost guaranteed.
