on Emails.
What is the point of this?

to make sure they got read. that way i can't say "oh i didn't come to the meeting because i didn't read the email in time"
the fuckers got smart on me. now they send meeting emails with the subject "Free Pizaa!" and i can't help but click on it.

so your client can't say " oh,
I never did receive that"
- Mimio0
I never give them the satisfaction of sending a receipt.

it only works with outlook i thought ...? herm.

OSX mail ... i can ask for a receipt

right, but the person who receives it has to allow the receipt to be sent back. Circumventing the entire process. I just had an Acccount Exec ask me how to set this up in Outlook, on every email that they send out. EVERY email.

ah cool. did not know. thank you.

You're right there is no point. People can opt out.
