hey everyone...
been laboring under the corporate machine for far too long and need to get the 'passion' for design back. what better way than through books! can anyone recommend what they think are some of the seminal books in design, typography, etc. and why they think so?
thanks! and uh...tits

I too laboured for the corporate machine for many years. The best solution was to get out and find a place where corporate stuff was handled differently so you get the same pay but better job satisfaction.
No book will get you out of feeling crap about the work you do or answer the question of "how the F! did I end up like this after college?"

I second Honest's recommendations. "How to be a designer without losing your soul" is a great book. Read it!
