Hello,
I'll be visiting Oxford soon. I will be arriving later in the evening by train coming from London.Two questions:
How safe/unsafe is the railway station area after 22.00?And does any one of you know decent/clean/safe hotels or guesthouses closeby (short walking distance) of the Train station?

You shouldn't have a problem with safety in the centre at all.
Hotels... nah dunno of any but there will be loads around. it's a really touristy area.

dunno - but if you find the pub next to the Phoenix Cinema (art house) then they serve staropramen granat which is sooo yum!! :p I'm based in North Oxfordshire and tend to keep away from Oxford itself, mmind you some of the ladies i was getting winks from might tempt me back - maybe just polution!
