this is stupid, i know, but how do you underline text in illustrator?
weird, havent done it before...

i believe (might be a myth) that if you find the character window in illustrator, there's an underline option on that menu window.

there is no underline feature in Illustrator. this is pretty much the dumbest thing ever.

correction to my last post-
there is no 'direct' underline feature in Illustrator. you can do it (i do all the time) but via the work around incl. Photoshop that i posted above.

Hmmm, looks like they sorted that issue out in CS2, I can underline very easily.

really?! this is a feature in CS2? this is the first i have ever heard of it (and not like on the street casual conversation geeky ;) and i have looked a bunch. consider this my next purchase for sure!
off hand- can you manipulate the stroke w/ all the same qualities as you can in InDesign or Freehand, for example?

in cs2 can you scroll through fonts yet? and do you have a perspective tool that works as well as flash and photoshop? and can you use the mouse wheel to scroll with out it beeping at you?
