I played all the missions on the first continent without cheats but i kept running out of fucking ammo and you couldn't ask anybody in your team for more like you can in other war games.

Well, I haven't played all that many games in this genre for years, I just had a sick impulse the other day and went out and bought a shiteload of games just to fill my new stand for dvds.. so I don't have anythign to compare with.. but it doesn't blow you away .. great time killer though, missions are long.... 1+ hour.

It doesn't have any free roaming modes or just instant battles.. like capture the flag against bots or something.. you have to do missions. That, I think, sucks.
Nothing like Red Alert was back in the day. I have probably wasted over a year of my life playing it.

and I love how I'm being refered to as "the yank" by the others in my group.
also, your team's intelligence sucks - they don't know when to duck or anything. I've stopped handing out health packs to them because they keep standing up straight in the bunkers getting shot at in the head by crazy germans.

conflict vietnam was a great game cause you had way more squad control.

call of duty 2 is pretty awesome, just got it yesterday from a source...
anyways it looks pretty good, plays better than the first and runs really well, u can alt-tab out of the thing real easy. the computer AI is great too.
