NERD POST!!!
Yes, I'm taking a risk by making this thread, but really, I'm so excited about this film.
The HP characters are also not that much younger than I am, (I got the first one when I was 13) so it's interesting...to grow up with them. In a way.
Promotional images here:

no risk as far as im concerened Jaline..i'm just reading the half blood prince right now..for the third time....those books are addictive...
i'm looking forward to the new movie as well...i've been reading the reviews for it over on www.aintitcool.com and it sounds like its going to be pretty excellent..too bad they have to cut out a lot of the subplots in the book...but other than that it looks promising..
hell, i'm 33 and i only started reading the books about 3 years ago, but i was hooked from the first one...incredible story telling...can't wait for my daughter to grow old enough so i can read them to her...

I can't wait until STUFF magazine has a photo shoot with that chic and the Olsen twins in some lesbo action scene.
All "grown up" hollywood girls end up there sooner or later.
Oh, yeah... the movie looks like it might be okay. Gonna be strange seeing Harry in vintage pumas and a "Death Cab for Cutie" shirt while battling monsters but cool none the less.

Thanks ex, I was just referring to how HP threads always go towards another direction here. Mainly about the boy wizard himself.
The actors who portray Ron and Harry were supposedly going to cut their hair, but the director told them not to. I think that's what annoys me the most. That both of them have ridiculously long hair. I don't mind it all the time, but on those two it looks bad.
Anyway, hopefully that's the only bad thing about the film. The new cast members look perfect!

Oh, and one of my friends took these pictures:

I watched Harry Potter The Prisoner of Azkaban, only to see Ian Brown's cameo.

The books are amazing; each one is better than the last.
It may seem like lots of work to read all the novels, but it's totally worth it. Especially if you're going to see the film and you have some extra time.

we're going opening day - on a giant screen.
can't wait...we rarely go to the movies, but have been anticipating this (and the chronicles of narnia) for months.

I haven't read or seen the Narnia collection since grade 6 (9 years ago), which will probably make the films all the more enjoyable. The previews look AMAZING, especially the lion.

i can't wait to see the movie.
i'm about 65% done with the Goblet of Fire book right now, it's awesome!
and oh yeah, chronicles of Narnia looks sooo good! looks a lot like lord of the rings, in a good way. i guess that's because alot of the same people are working on the effects/costumes.

(Nov 7 05, 09:29)Surprisingly, I don't. But I used to. I can actually get all that information out of a website, such as MSN.com, or any other news site. I don't even read that much and somehow I seem to know so much more than everyone else. My sister calls me the 'information machine'. Anyway, I guess that just says that I either read too much about other ppl and the world, or others don't read enough.
