Running Slow

I'm publishing my flash file out of Flash at 100%/100% and no scale. Then bringing it into Dreamweaver to zero out the page margins.
In flash everything runs smooth and at speed. 40 frames a second. But once I publish and post it runs rough and about half that speed. I thought it might be the large gradient in the background but after deleting it and repeating the process it still ran slow.
Here is the online example:

Anyone see any reason why this won't run smoothly?
thanks

its running fine on my laptop...have you run this on different machines with more CPU power?
but 40fps? hmm that might be the culprit.

maybe because my processor is running at 800mhz, too fast for my lovely machine

but why 40fps?

runs fast for me.
pc. 2ghz machine. 1g ram. firefox.
almost too fast (to read) feels like it in fast forward.

also if it runs fine on your client but not after uploading it to your host, your bandwidth may be playing the trick - combined the fact that your file has 40fps.

I'm on a dual 2.0 Ghz Mac tower and it's boggin' down pretty good. Should be able to handle it.
Would reducing the frame rate and cutting out some of the frames between tweens help?

i give up. reduced the framerate, took out some time in the motion tweens and reposted. still running choppy.
it has to be something to do with the publishing out of Flash at those specs.
