yes, but when you are expressing yourself on a piece of property which doesn't belong to you, it becomes a crime.

you could still do bombs... just tape the can to you rhand... a solid straight letter throwie only needs 2 colors if the letters are good
- MLP0
its a crime, but that's the beauty of the game.
would you rather sit at a train crossing and see boxcar after boxcar or would you rather feel like you just went to a gallery and see 100s of pieces?
i figure more designers being type savvy would be into graffiti or at least appreciate it more based on that.

Some people can't get past the illegality of it to appreciate the intricacy of the letterforms.
Even more inspiring is the fact that most of the people who make such beatiful letters have no background in typography or design at all.

last time i was in d.c. riding their trains i saw a few beautiful pieces. the vast majority however was made up of some wanker crossing another wanker's name off and tagging his next to it.
beauty is in the eye of the beholder, i suppose.

coming from a guy who takes payoff most likely we should cut off a finger for each of the crimes he's committed in office
we'll most likely have to move onto his feet and that's cool with me
*decides to deface LV next time I'm there

yea cut em off!!!
get Medieval on they ass!
...my good friend just lost 2 fingers last month actually.... clean cut, youch* :(

that's the most stupid thing i have seen a politician say lately.
there's a ton of reasons why.
a few of them are:
- great, let's go back to the middle ages and go and execute people publicly > // it will surely help! *cough
- this will only motivate fanatics more, having a cut off thumb will become a symbol of status within their scene, just like having shot someone or being a former inmate gives you respect in some gangs of thugs and what not.
- you only show how rejectable your behaviour is considering the fact that you claim to be well adjusted and therefore have all right to inflict physical harm on someone who did no more then material harm to objects.

move to the fucking suburbs if you dont like graffiti.

Another panelist on the show, Howard Rosenberg, a state university system regent, responded by saying that cutting off the thumbs of taggers won't solve the problem and Goodman should ``use his head for something other than a hat rack.''

hahaha, word!

The mayor of my city (John Street, Philadelphia, 3rd most corrupt mayor in the country, re-elected...) said that he'd rather "start breaking arms than call them graffiti artists."
- Point50
Mayor Goodman is a former mob attorney; the real deal. I'm sure he's seen a finger or two severed in his day, so it's no big deal to him...

only if we can publically hang corporate tax evadors and enviromental polluters.
- TechVector0
right, then we could cut the feet off of skaters that deface public property.....stupid ass.
- Point50
and that "beautiful highway landscaping redevelopment in our downtown" that he is speaking of is actually horrible looking. I would rather look at graffiti because it looks better and costs millions of dollars less.

yeah, let's go all the way, cut off the nose of cocain sniffers, cut off the tongues of people criticizing politicians, cut off the feet of those who get too much speeding tickets etc. etc.
- mrdobolina0
janne, that wouldnt work. speeders could still push the pedal with their bloody stumps.
- Crouwel0
yeah and coke sniffers could just put a hose in the hole that was previously their nose.
;)
- mrdobolina0
janne, you are forgetting all about freebase.
- Crouwel0
oh yeah, well then cut off their hands so they cannot use a lighter as well.
;)
