...just wondering if anyone has tried the after effects tutorials on:

http://www.ayatoweb.com/ae_tips_…I am trying to create a similar effect using a block of copy as opposed to a logo. I get the basic shatter effect but I can't get my head around the 3d rotate! :(
I get the basic swivel effect but it doesn't have the depth of field 3d look to it.
Anyone used this tutorial with any success? or anyone who can tell me why I don't get the 3d effect - in simple terms it looks like a flat sheet turning - not like the shatter effect that ya man has created.
Grateful for any pointers.
