XMP to CMS

    I need better information on the following scenario than just Adobe:

    Client updates XMP info of a batch of images (most likely with Photoshop's File Info), then imports the metadata for those images into a database (Excel), which is then dumped into a CMS.

    How easy is this and how easy is it go back to the images and repeat this streamline process from image to CMS?
