I had an idea of mine completely stolen and I can totally prove it. So how do I go about suing these dumb asses??

The characters on my website are being used by the models who posed for them in another website and I want them to stop. They are also using my photos without my permission.

Just send them an email or call them. Any creative work that you develop is yours -- under law it essentailly has copyright.

a poor mans copyright is your friend too. basically you mail yourself any original artwork you make for someone. and then never open that envelope. the postmarked date stamp makes it legit

i think dinky means cease and decist order, but wishing disease on them is good too. consult a voodoo doctor for that

i dont think mailing it to yourself really does anything. according to law, as soon as something is made it is protected under copyright. mailing it yourself is just extra work. Copyright registration, although always advised, "technically" is not really required ...provided you can prove you were the creator.
