It sucks when people try to be clever and it just backfires on them because they're not very creative.
I also don't really like when people act like rap and hip-hop and the associated culture is some impenetrable cloak of mystery.
It's just music.I'm not sure what quoting rap lyrics means in that culture, but when I quote rock band lyrics, I'm not required to be a carbon copy of said band's perceived public image nor be living the rock star lifestyle.
(aka, being bored at home or on a shower-less tour in a dirty, smelly van)

as far as the chuck quoting hip hop, i dont have a problem with it at all. as long as he doesn't throw a shout-put to public housing, its all good. fuck that 'its not his scene' thing. he's not exactly saying he was hustling crack on the side, just identifying with the lyrics.

nopattern, I like your work, alot. I was wondering where you get some of these things made, and if it's possible for someone to just do a very short run in an independent manner. For instance the wallet or shoes, is it possible to bring design specs to someone and have just a few made up? BTW, the wallet looks great.
