It for a website which will provide "free impartial reviews and money saving tips" - e.g. where to get the cheapest ipod, how to save money on your mortgage, the best value LCD tv, etc. etc.

I don't like any of them. No offense. Even if the top one could be used for a grocery store those arrows and vibrating colors make my eyes go nuts to where I can't focus anywhere. Why is there a gradient on the text of the 4th one? What is the face used on the last one Impact?

Yep the should be a gradient on the 4th one, it should be solid red. The last one is very simple i know, and yes impact is the font

oh, 'bout the logos...
I really like #2. The blue on red is very harsh but I think with some color experimentation that can be really nice. Watch for font consistency, the difference between the two A's is a bit too much...

Those dogs are awesome. I've never heard of an "Irish" Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Aren't they called that because they are from Staffordshire?

are those pitt bulls? i'm not a fan but i'm wanting a dog so bad that i have to admit... those pups are cute as hell.

I think they have distinct breeding and bloodlines than pitbulls. It gets confused though. stokelake should know.

ISBTs are a seperate breed, that are taller and leaner than normal Staffys, they can grow upto 21'' at the shoulder, were as a normal staffy would be 16-18''.
The blue comes a breed call Blue Paul which is now exstint. Pit bulls would have orginally come from england / ireland.
