Hello, I am just redesigning my website and would appreciate any opinions you folks have on it.
Tried to go for something simple and clean. There are three pages at the moment. Click the image to proceed.

nice and clean, and you're having some fun with the handwritten bits – looks good.
a few things: can you show the entire fade on the light coming from that lamp? that's an awkward slice.
and do you need to have the 'please choose' next to the navigation? i don't think that's necessary...?

I like the info layout of the 3rd one but want to see the work display area in there as well. I am always a fan of portfolio sections loading with a default piece of work in there. Also, I would recommend having more of a visual difference between "Please choose:" and your links on the same line....nothing too overdone just enough to provide a visual separation in elements.

Whoops, my bad, that should be a complete fade on the light. My clumsy fingers.Yeah i think you are right about the 'please choose' will probably lose it.

really dig the color scheme. it's a nice and clean site.
the lamp fade needs to be cut better. looks really odd on the landing page like that.

Do you mean there should be work in there too? Cos if so yep an image or two is definaetly needed or do you mean it should follow more of the portfolio page look?
I didn't go for the straight to the portfolio page on the first page for two reasons.
1. I have a silly website name which isn't that self explatatary so i reckon its nice to have a wee intro.
2. i couldn't think of a where to put the news (something i wanted to include) if it did go straight in.
will have a think about whether icould put it anywhere else.
