Does anyone ever look at the content of the 3 sectioins of NT and get the feeling the quality diminishes slightly from left to right?
In design magazine terms it's like: NTB is Eye Magazine.
PBS is Creative Reviewand PVN is Heat magazine.
all of which means I've just sent a letter in to Heat magazine. hmm.

Oh, and I can see your sweat patches and your tit-tape™ Baskerville
Shocking!

I like how you included the ™ after tit-tape. And I thought I was pedantic!

yeah Nuts™ or Zoo™, that's true but what about all the "this girl at work is trying to come on to me but I've already got a grilfriend" or "what should I give to my boyfriend for christmas" threads, surely they're more the domain of a woman's weekly.

a woman's weekly.

(Oct 24 05, 06:50)Christ. Really? A woman's monthly is bad enough.

Nobody actually reads Eye Magazine. They just put it on their coffee tables to look nice.

I think the Creative Review is pushing it a bit too, how's about:
NTB - Eye
PBS - The Daily Sport
PVN - Razzle

We get Eye here at work so I do read it. I definitely read the artilce I contributed to about lettering and signage in Lisbon in Eye:

but maybe that's just because I'm a type nerd

(Oct 24 05, 06:58)The price puts me off buying these nice design journals.
The only time I buy Design Week is when I'm looking for a job... :/
- kelpie0
design week is rubbish.
- stem0
I't's hard to find any for under a fiver these days.
I sometimes have a quick flick through 'em in Waterstones or Smiths, I put 'em back tho.
- Baskerville0
true design week is rubbish but it sometimes has good jobs in the back. I still look at the jobs section here at work. Never hurts to keep an eye out!
Moth, I agree, I would never be able to afford to buy the 'nice' design magazines. It's a good thing I can steal them from work!

our penny pinching studio manager wifey decided one time we couldn't possibly afford TWO mag subscriptions in teh office, so canceled CR and kept feckin DW. which no-one then read, obviously. :(
