I know... purple is nasty, but we might *have* to use purple.

(Oct 21 05, 06:56)I know, I know... that's why I'm looking for inspiration.
I'm the innocent party who's gonna sort it out...
- spongebob0
that'd look perfect on a Powerpoint presentation.
- Bluejam0
use the Lucky Strike logo as inspiration. circles are a good visual device that you can always blag as being' secure'...

I would start over too..

Solid colour in the sheid then put the other words in it and make it bigger.
or
Make the words in a lurvley font, and have the sheild emblem as a wee tm style of a thing
or
????

its too plain...it doesnt say *secure* at all to me, it says boring. Definitely try some serif fonts and if you want to use a very plain sheild try doing something typographic within the shield element.
Also blue is a good color to suggest security, but purple isnt as much...maybe blue and green together? or two blues?

no, sir. i don't like it.
keep thinking.

Has someone said start again yet?
- cruz_azul0
bolder .. make it tuff ..
- horton0
if you're gonna call it a logo at least give the typography a little flare..
ie. the kerning inbetween T & Y in SECURITY needs fixing and could be interesting.
- designaked0
Give it nipples. Everything is better with nipples.
- blastofv0
it's visually weak – go bolder with font styles, weight, and positive/negative space
