Glad you could finally join in 2003.
BWAHAHAHA.. but its still an amazing commercial.. come on.
it is amazing. I wonder if it's all 3d animation..
I wish someone would hack into that, and make it about 10 hours long. Seriously, never watched the whole thing. It would be the coolest thing of all time to realize you'd been watching for more than 45 minutes and it was all different.
You'd want to kill Honda! They'd just say "keep watching."
level2, I'm suprised you haven't come across this sooner. There is only one CG part and thats a transition about half way through. They had to because the room wasn't big enough to setup the whole thing.
Other than that transition, it's all real.
what is the term for that type of art piece? there has got to be one..
The honda comercial is all 3d...
Im sure speakers bounch up and down like that and a barely touching connection to the stereo would work with out cutting in and out...
its all 3d
slappy... it's all real and it took them 606 takes.
yes and despite gravity wheels roll up hill too
is that the Honda Accord video?i i heard that the original of that was done in 1987 by Peter Fishcli & David Weiss.
its not 3d, there is a german artist, im forgeting his name now, but this is his schtick, elborate mousetrap mazes... they hired him... or bit off his work.
the original one could be seen in Belief's site, Pollinate video. try checking it out. =)
it was 3d mill did all the cg. they made a spoof video of it being all real.
aye it's for real, it was actually a rip of some art installation, if you watch the video "polinate" by belief in the archives you'll see what I mean.
its 'der lauf der dingen'
and its uhm all real.no 3D
saw the original at a part last week..it was projected during a funkstorung show;
still an ace idea...
