cheers, havent upped' the hi-res images yet, till launch.sponge:
only the last few links will launch in a new window, thats because they arent part of my portfolio and are really just pages supposed to exist by themselves, like one-off feature pagessurely my portfolio links arent launching a new window ?
i was using frames, but have now changed it to a non scrolling div, does the nav all stay in the same place ?
thanks guys!

The dunedin street art all launches a new window... but all I can see from the page is a broken image on grey bg and nothing else.
Once when I clicked the left navigation disappeared as well... I pressed the back button on my browser and it came on again.
Weird.

thanks slappy
i thought the leading might play up on IE on the PC
bugger, I wanted to keep it really tight, looks fine on the mac, might have to bump it up tho.
can you try it now slappy ?

I'm using Maxthon (IE6 derivative on XP Pro), and i'm getting the overlapping text on the left hand side, and clicking on any of the links opens them in a new window.

yea as I said the full size photos will all work once i go live.
where did you click to make the navigation dissappear? :(
ahhh this isnt sounding good :(

buddah
when you click say "design & illustration"
that opens a new window ???

i have all the link targets as _self, (not _blank or anything) so they shouldnt launch a new window ??
im talking about under the portfolio section, lefthand side

sorry mate, had to go to lunch...
i went back, and index2.html was gone, so i checked index.html, clicked the link you suggested, and it's opening in the same page now...
if you wanna post up index2 again, i'll give it another shot.
