Canon Rebel XT Q

does anyone out there in la la land own a Canon 350D, aka a Digital Rebel XT??? I'm thinking of either getting a Nikon D50 or the canon 350D....
any advice would be mildly appreciated.

I have a canon 350D, only got it recently and my photography skills had got pretty rusty over the last few years of neglect. I've been really happy with it ... but i think just the whole digital slr thing has been rocking my world.

go and play around with both in a camera store. People here will mostly send you to dpreview.com or tell you which is better based on what they own, so that they confirm to themselves that they made the right decision when they chose.
I think you will find they both take good pictures.

i have the Canon XT. Here's some photos with the kit lens ... http://www.in8design.com/photos/… ... and i just upgraded to the EF-S 17-85mm lens. its pretty bad ass. i'm sure the nikon is nice too, i've just always kind of leaned canon.

thanks for the help so far guys.... i just want to say that the pictures you guys take are amazing, i really like the band photos by beech, and the black and white photos have inspired me to say fuck it, and buy the canon rebel xt. so thank you for helping me out.

I shoot on the canon 300d, I like it becuase even the old fully manual canon lenses work on it. picked up some really good glass second hand too.

go with Canon! Xt its a very nice cam, and yes, you shoul invest on a very nice lens too.
