I have a pair of converse slip ons. I like 'em. But I only use them to bring the garbage out or walk across the street to buy milk. But they violate my two rules of shoes. 1) Can I run away very fast in these things? (answer, no they'd fall off) 2) Can they inflict damage on somone's nads if I kicked them with said shoes on. (again, no, they'd fall off and I'd bruise a toe or some shit...)

With Converses I always bought them smaller so I wouldn't have that problem with running ... though the comfort factor kind of leaves.
I have not worn these in over a year, haha:
