a while back i saw a thread on here (but it looks to have been erased) and someone posted a meta tag code line that they said worked better than the normal :
META name="description" content="a description of your page"
META name="keywords" content="a, list, of, keywords"
lines
does anyone have any clue as to what i am talking about?
thanks guys

sure do. i think the solution was to shove between a pound and a pound and a quarter... NO MORE... of beef into the cd rom drive of your computer.

my meta tags are doing a wonderful job for me
google searches for my name or company name yield a top result
yahoo searches of my company name actually reveals some of my clients
i'd say the key to using metatags correctly is finding the right person to copy off of as it seems you are still having difficulties
if using konas suggestion, add extra salt, thats what cures your link into googles database
trust me we've done studies

Anyone who thinks they are getting good page ranking with pimped out Meta Tags needs to get with modern SEO practices. The big search engines all but ignore them now.
