Got a spare copy of Tiger from work and wanted to install it on my iBook (it is genuine!!! before you anti-piracy heads jump on my skull)
It's a DVD version and my iBook is CD only
Can I make something like a .dmg file and copy it to the hard drive, then install from there?
if not, anyone kow how long it takes Apple to do the media swap thing?

What about borrowing a Mac with DVD drive, and mount your iBook drive in target disk mode for the install?
