Afternoon, Just a Mac related question,just got one and I have a few fonts that I want to install but they are .bin files-dont have a clue how use them etc...also have a folder of .PFM files that 5 cant seem to veiw/install and now they wont delete from my trash,bollocks
Any help much appreciated...word

a .bin file is a 'stuffed' file in mac terms. you need stuffit expander to un zip em.
once they are unzipped you put the font files in the font folder in the library folder

cheers, and as for the locked files in my trash that wont delete?

if you have something equivalent to safe mode, then try entering that and then deleting the file. I had this same problem this morning, and it was deleted through safe mode. Anyway, it could also be that you're connected to the internet, and someone is using that file.

Often just using the Finder's 'Secure Empty Trash' will delete stubborn things...
