yeah, now that the original team are all on superman, i've got very little hope for x3. sucks, cause it was easily the best comic book adaptation movie (save for sin city of course)

There's nothing to really see there, that's why it's the teaser trailer. It sucks that Singer went to Superman instead. If this movie doesn't turn out well, I'll blame it on him! Ha, but really, I dislike the guy playing Superman, and X2 was one of the best movies.
Since the original cast is in it, I still have hope. I think it's stupid how Halle Barry (Storm) threatened to not continue unless she had more scenes. LAME. Anyway, I love Wolverine and Rogue. Wolv should continue wearing those Canadian lumber jackets :P

um...sin city was 3 different books put together in one movie, made no sense unless you read all 3 books, visually it was stunning but placing sin city in the realm of the best comic2film is way off!!!
batman begins was the closest comic2film ever!!! thus far! perhaps men in black also holds ground but that was never a real Marvel title to begin with just a purchased license to take them out of the red chapeter 11.
spider-man was also very close minus the origin and main actor choice it was fantastic but organic webs was a poor choice!!! blah! and i am a huge spidey fan!!
collosus was dope but had too little of scenes and not enough growth as a main character he could have been.
i know a lot of inside to X3 and i wont say but i am very disappointed in the choices the plot is going with and giving halle berry anything is crap in my eyes as she never made sense in being storm to begin with, giving her too muc hfreedom in this movie by making her lead as her character was during the 80's uncanny x-men books, is pure hell!!! i hate it!!!
the origian punisher movie with dolph lundgren was the all time best comic2film but was the alltime worst movie in existance!!!
thanks !!
:)

- e-pill0

e-pill, spider man was still a lame ass movie tho. i forgot about batman, thats probably up there with sin city. but sin city was a perfect adaptation (almost) and was still really easy to follow (i thought).
- e-pill0
i saw sin city with many many avid comic geeks such as myself and all our girlfriends and wives who never read the books and they were very confused to what was going on and need constant explainations to why the story chaanged so fast and so much.
aside from organic webs and genneicly created spider the movie was good!
when i close my eyes and imagine peter parker i still see jake gyllenhaal as spiderman!!!
tobie mcguire isnt as good nor is he as nerdy or lanky looking!
he wasnt the perfect choice but he is doing an ok job, part 2 was blah! part 3 venom is going to be fun and hopefully scary!!! but topher grace i think the ultimate spiderman comic adaptation is being used and is confussing as peter is younger but in the movies is older, makes no sense!!!
lets see how they fuck it up!!!

I think Batman is the most perfect comic book - to - film adaptation thus far. I liked Sin City, but it just didn't flow as well and many ppl just didn't enjoy it because of the violence (not me, but I knew lots of ppl who hated it), and also b/c of the three stories going on at once.
You'd think ppl would be able to handle it at this day and age, but no.
Spiderman 2 wasn't bad, but it got really cheesy sometimes. I hated the constant representation of women being helpless (and there was SO much screaming in that movie) and just the way Kristin Dunst acts.
Come to think of it, I'll probably hate Superman b/c the guy playing Superman seems strange and I don't think Kate Bosworth wouldn't be a good Lois Lane. I would recommend the actors from the show, Smallville, for that. I'll see the movie though, and comment on it later.
X-Men 2 would be the runner up for the best adaptation. I loved that film as well. X-Men was alright, but definitely not as good as the second one.
Anyway, I loved Batman a lot more because it was just great on so many levels.

which batman are we talking about here?
michael keaton or christian bale?
- e-pill0
batman begins!!! bale all the way!
after begins came out the first batman movies became the worst movies!!!
:)
- Jaline0
The other Batman movies were already the worst. I appreciate Tim Burton, but nothing compares to Christopher Nolan's interpretation. He also did the film 'Memento' if you can remember.
- mattyd0
let us all remember that the original batman really set the tone for the comic book-based movies. lest we forget how shitty, in actuality, the superman movies were.
- Jaline0
yeah, you're completely right. I don't even think there are any great comic book films from before. Maybe I wasn't born then :P
But I do know that most of the best ones came out within the past 2 years. And Wonder Woman is coming out within the next 2 years!
- e-pill0
you guys are insane!!!!
Superman 1 & 2 were fantastic!!!:)
- bgheen0
scott dies. "storm" takes over the team so Berry can pretend she deserved that oscar.
Professor X might be killed as well. How f'ing lame.
