Still very much a work in progress. Work section template is the only thing active. Going to show this early design to the bosses next week and wanted to see what you all thought.
A quick thanks to all who have chimed in on the couple tech questions I had in regard to this thing.

- kill the rotating arrow when u rollover one of the nav buttons. Just make it slide STRAIGHT from 10 pixels away, ease 100.
- Kill the side gradients in your nav buttons, keep it a solid color.
- In the WORK section, keep the panel open UNTIL u click on another section. Right now the 'window' closes when u roll to another link.
- Do NOT link the ABOUT and CONTACT sections in a new HTML window.

What's the point of making me click to enter the site?

Long story. It's the tough battle of building a small bit of theater into the new design. We (as in myself and another designer) think that this is why they like the current site. Not my personal choice. Kind of playing devil's advocate on that one.
I think ditching it all together and just having it play after load is the way to go.

it looks more 2advancedish. which is cool. which gets more bitches. bitches!

Overall nice job. The pixel type is somewhat underwhelming and hard to read. Consider adding some larger, more impactful type as a constrast to the tiny pixel type on the opening page and on the folio page.

i actually like the click-to-enter thing.

When I choose a category within "Work," the page opens up to a deeper layer of thumbnail grid.
When I choose the same category again, the opening animation repeats. If anything it should close.

Thank you jevad. Your check is in the mail.

very nice movement. nice layout.
kill the gradients. that is just my personal preference though. if the client likes it hey, what are you going to do.

Sounds like graidents aren't making the cut. I'll look into solid color solutions.
