"You all can talk your shit- I use a dual 450 G4 that is 5 years old as my main work machine and have my own business and employee 4 other people using 4 other macs, we have an old imac 350 set up as a music server with over 19,000 mp3's playing all day, and a G5 server running everything"
I don't understand - unless its your mp3 server is playing all 19000 at once its not impressive, just kind of tragic that you're holding on to a lump of antiquated molded plastic.

why waste money on something new if the current machine is doing it?

No worries, just watch some adult swim and you'll even forget to buy a new computer.

How many guys here are still working with a 6 years old PC 450 Mhz running XP and the latest graphic applications on the market like photoshop, Illustrator CS or even some 3D software???????????????Yes, I can really notice the fucking diference when I use a new PC or a new Mac and go back to my oldie, but the thing here is that I am still making money ouut of it. I paid this Mac a 1000 times already. Some PC guys dont really understand, this not only about asthetics, or hardware, is about OS, usability, touch. The machine is tool. I am no fucking computer engenering, I am a designer.
I am going to get myself the latest iMac G5 2,1 Ghz with 1Gb ram and yes their fucking HOT.
