2-column CSS queschiooon

say you have css set to have 2 columns with height of 450 pixels.
you want it so that when the text amount reaches to the bottom 450th pixel (or more realistically at around 435th pixel), the text will automatically start showing up on the second (and right-side) column.
putting in overflow: auto will start showing scroll bars instead of putting text to next column (obviously).
how do i do this?
any good tutorial?

there's no automatic multi-column feature. CSS 3.0 will though.

Multi-column can be an annoying way to read on the web. You constantly have to scroll down, then up, then down again and even more depending on the number of columns.

there's heapsa cool shit at that mudcorp site.. the text flow uses javascript tho.. but is still a way around...
