Flexi hours

Ok, i've just started a new job working 9-5.30pm. However before i signed my contact i knew that i would need to leave at 4.45pm on Wednesday's from the 23rd November for 20 weeks. The company said that would be fine.
However they have changed their mind and im now going to be down £750 if i can't make them change there mind.
Any ideas on what i should do?

again, not to be a prick, but unless this agreement was documented clearly in a cpntract of some sort that holds up in a court of law, that verbal agreement means nothing.

Nope i didn't get anything in writing. I wish i had now...
I just thought that as they were giving me a job and they had agreed on it they wouldnt go back on their word.
I agree on the fuckers thing! I need to find a new job that are cool about flexi hours on one day for twenty weeks.

Ask them to sign something new and cancel the previous contract or look elsewhere

start earlier, work yr breaks? they must be able to do something if you have already spoken about it. r u still in yr first three months? if so walk away doesn't look like anything will get better in the future

work through your lunchs on those days....I do that all the time. Leave early, say "I worked through lunch"....reshearching on Newstoday®!

Cheers people, im going to have a good chat with the MD tomorrow about it. Fact is its a good job and well paid. But if they still as no, i will quit!
Job hunt could be on the cards again.
