I did some pitch work for a client about a mouth ago and he has still not paid me. It was only £200 worth of work but I would still like paying if you now what i mean.
The thing is I am going to sent him an email but am not too sure how to word it right, and not sound too forward.
Any tip please.

oddly enough I'm in the same situation, only I've called in a favour with the Irish mafia.

did he and you both sign a contract?

----------------Is this Irish mafia to be feared? I mean are they a quality mafia these days? How do they compare to the Jamaicans or the Columbians? Or are they you know gone all soft like the Yakuza and the Italians?

I dunno yet, they haven't let me down in the past and they're a lot cheaper than bailiffs

just go in person and ask "hi, where's my money?"
if he argues about it, make your point clear.
if he says he's broke, ask for his shoes.
if he's being a dick about it, and you wanna be friendly, ask him if he has 20 pounds, and he'll give that to you. write him a receipt that states 180 owing. and you'll be back. leave, close the door, and walk in again. repeat.
just break his balls about it. it's not nice, but it works. and thats business.

If you signed no contract you are SOL. As in 'Sh*t Out of Luck'.
Forget the money, you will never see it. Live and learn, next time sign a contract. One that holds up in court.

speaking of contracts...
Does anyone know of any good places for free contracts/templates?
And yes, I googled it...

What if the agreement was done over email, and there was nothing signed? Freelancing is still new to me since I only do it on the side.

well ummmmm No.
It was a quick job, day and a bit work. I think he is just being a pain in the ass and leaving payment as late as possable.
