if someone has a minute, please help me with this:
i've created an xml feed as a test.
the "live feed update" won't work.when i validate the xml at w3c i get a "no doctype declaration" error. i've looked at other sites' feeds. my files seem to be the same.
xml: http://etienne.themedium.co.za/f…
xhtml: http://etienne.themedium.co.za/i…what am i doing wrong?
cheers.

screw the w3c thing, if its working which it seems tobe then dont worry, w3c is not the be all and end all of internet.

i can bookmark/subscribe to the feed, but the live bookmark feed (in firefox) "fails to load".
do you need special configuration on your host?

Grr, just noticed I've got this same problem with my RSS feed too.
Works fine in safari with Tiger, but 'fails to load live bookmarks' in firefox and doesn't validate with w3c.
Any bright ideas?

i haven't checked other browsers/readers yet.
i went through my rss and found some errors in the code itself, fixed it but still the same thing.
at the moment i haven't figured it out yet... new to xml.
this validator is quite handy though: http://rss.scripting.com/

I can't let this topic die without resolution, so the only reason I am responding is to keep it alive.
There must be some techy dude out there that knows the answer...?
