My dad heard some instrumental electric guitar stuff I was playing at home once, and said it sounded like Pink Floyd.
Pompous as I was, I told myself I'd never listen to Pink Floyd on the chance maybe someone else would say that someday, and it would be interesting considering I never listened to them.
Tried to get into Dark Side Of... few months ago, and just didn't like much about it. I guess if I'm looking for stuff with that kind of sound, there's plenty more that's new and somewhat of an evolution of that sound that I liked already, and PF sounded boring or lacking.
