can anyone explain to me why the browsers are not using the style sheet? works fine on on safari, IE pc.
http://www.intunemonthly.com/bet…
if i remove the doctype, it shows. if i keep it in, it doesnt. but i would like to keep it in.
thanks

@import is only good in IE me thinks , on top of foreign's comment
- van_rijn0
odd. because i was using the same doctype in http://www.nymetrodisability.com… and it works fine.
thanks

did you try changing it?
did it work?
- van_rijn0
yeah, tried the change it. the same effect. but, if i put the whole css on the page it self w/o the import, it works. so, yeah it has to be the doctype. never seen this before.
possible it is the tables as well. i will just redo in all divs to see if that works

try just linking to the stylesheet, instead of import.

turns out, the html editor i use BBEdit, uses the same doctypes as ALA

try just linking to the stylesheet, instead of import.

< link rel="stylesheet" ...
include quotes
what does the css look like (can't see it)? firefox doesn't like broken styles (forgotten { or } somewhere?}
- van_rijn0
even with the quotes....
im just going to rewrite the whole thing little by little to see what exactly is effing it up. debugging mode ;)

if i want to see your text.css it redirects to the main page. does the file exist in /beta/includes/ ?
