I have the following question, should've asked mooooonths ago.
When I save (in photoshop) a .psd or .tif to a JPG, my pictures color's are all off. I never did anything about it before because it wasn't that important, but Now I really need it to be reliable. ANyone know why this Happens? Does it happen in CS2?

what colour space are you working in?
and how are you saving the jpeg?
> save as/ jpegor..
> save for web/ jpeg?if the later you might be unknowingly converting from cmyk to rgb..?

working in RGB, saving for web.
do all my work in RGB, since mostly for RGB printer.

I should also mention that the change is like maybe 15-25% lighter. Which skews the color a bit.

you might have some funky Color Settings..
cmnd-shift-K
"US Prepress Defaults" is a good all-round preset.
then try just save as.. or check the ICC profile box in save for web.
just a guess.

nice - glad it worked.
profiles can be scary.. i make sure i've always got PS colour settings to warn me of mismatches.
it's a little irritating at first to get the message with every image opened, but a good safety measure.
