"But anyone can learn to do this in time"
bullshit

(Oct 4 05, 12:57)Brooke has skills, but any of you guys could do the same. You proabbly dont have the passion and dedication to stick it out though. Maybe that is where her talent lies?
It's like drawing anyone can become good at it, it's a matter of training & practice. The real "talent" comes in the imagination and "idea/concept".

it was done in flash so let it play

I wasnt saying anything against her work...I was telling the idiots on here that she is awesome...I thought it was original....its still freaking perfect nonetheless...
fate, if you are jumpin on the band wagon of nick and others then go jump on their cock...cause your all a bunch of fuckin idiots imho..
I dont know what I said to give you a reason to say something negative to me anytime I post....but there was nothing wrong with anything that I said...
I said it sucks cause it wasnt original...when I said to the others it was....I didnt know it was a trace...
I dont even know why I am even trying to talk to you...your another fucking piss ant that needs to be ignored

Oh come on Nic, don't pull out the SeanGetti card by calling me a hater. I've said it earlier, I love her work, brooke is cool, but her talent is not unachievable, and in fact, it has become a trend, though oft immitated and emulated.

Do you think she was born with the talent, jevad? Honestly, it takes time to be good at anything. Brooke is not the only one out there doing photorealistic vector traces. It is a veritable trend.

(Oct 4 05, 12:59)it's like saying that you can paint like Jackson Pollock...
do it.
i don't think ANYONE can do it.

Jevad's last two posts sum this hole thing up.
And read Gruntt's post for a good laugh.
- jevad0
whatever evan - don't be a hater
- blaw0
i'm quite certain she's not tracing anything.

*puts purple crayon back in box. takes out the burnt sienna one.
oh, and for the record - brooke fucking rocks.

I'm not trying to piss on Brooke's work, because I honestly love it, and she's a very nice person. But anyone can learn to do this in time. And it doesn't take a /lot/ of time. Hell, Computer Arts has tutorials on this sort of stuff regularly. To say we're all so uncapable and can't ever achieve such results is a slap in the face.

right on nic.
- jevad0
I'll give any one of you fuckers a photo to trace and 99% of you will come back with some 3rd grade purple crayon looking trash.
gfro
(Oct 4 05, 12:46)exactly - just fucking STFU and appreciate it for the amount of work that went into it - and the amount of detail that is there
you whiny fucking assholes
- rockonski0
i'm just being a high art fuck on purpose.

gfro, don't project your inadequacies onto us.

But that's my ONLY strength!

if I throw three bottle caps on a table and piss on it, it is art.
you are all artists.
45 degree lines with flame filters behind it is art. even if you dont think so. there are no exacts, it is all personal expression.
