simple batch question

hey kids...
not too sure about batching a bunch of files in CS....all i want to do is make them all 72 dpi from 300.... i guess i'm just a dumb head. any help would be greatly appreciated.

make an action to downsample the pix, then batch them into a new folder...
when the dialog for the batch is open, you can assign an action to it.

where does one write an action...i see where to apply in in the batch, but not where to author....thanks...

you record them using the Actions pallette. Dont forget to try Image Ready if your work is for web..it has more batch options than PS.
And.. you asked how to change the DPI..but the DPI is just meta data that has no relation to the actual size or quality of an image. I assume you meant resizing as well?

wow...thanks for the help eople. i just figured it out. pretty cool...never knew you could record your moves in PS and automate.
