fuck dude...chris WAS the band. i was OK with John leaving, he's doing his thing with The Weakerthans (amazing, BTW) and seemed a little out of place. Todd is a way better bassist for the band and their style. but chris is GONE? thats like the stones without mick jagger....except not nearly as many people give a shit.

This doesn't sound like propagandhi to me. I'm not saying it's bad, but very few bands can change their singer and expect to hold that original appeal. These guys aren't one of them.

nope. same singer. "rock for sustainable capitalism" is fucking great, a not so subtle jab at the state of punk today, and at fat mike in particular.

the whoel thing with fat mike was weird. i was kind of pissed when he wouldn't allow them to put that shit in the liner notes of rock against bush. but it is a great song and works really well with the state that 'punk' is in.

I've only seen Propagandhi once, but they did cover the Cro-Mags and it was very good. I didn't give them a chance originally because I assumed they would be just like all the other poppy-Fat Wreck bands. They are certainly more poppy than what I typically enjoy, but I can get down with them.
