Grunge is on par to make a comeback somewhere between 2009 and 2013.
Thank god I saved my flannels, mudhoney and Sonic Youth t-shirts for an original attempt at being hip in my 30's.
I'm setting myself up for embarassment.

I just watched and "archived" PJ Touring Band DVD last night!

I never understood the whole "grunge" thing. I mean most of the bands basically sounded like variations of the standard Sabbath/Zepplin thing when they weren't trying to sound like Black Flag or Neil Young. I mean it all sounded like classic rock redux to me, which was fine...but the "grunge" thing killed the scene for a few other bands that I thought were musically far more interesting - Living Colour, Faith No More, Jane's Addiction, eg.
That said, I was wearing flannels since I was like six. I was suddenly hip for about two years and then the world moved on, leaving me alone with my flannels again...
